Important Dates & Deadlines

March 1
Academic Scholarship Applications for the fall semester must be completed online. To complete the online application, applicant a processed FAFSA must have been received by the Financial Aid Office.
April 1
FAFSA must be received by the Federal Central Processor to qualify for financial assistance (SEOG, College Work-Study and Alabama State Grant) for the fall semester or entire academic year. Submitting your FAFSA by this deadline does not guarantee you will receive the funds, but it ensures your application will be considered for these limited-funding programs.
April 17
To be considered for financial assistance for the summer semester, students who have not yet submitted a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the current academic year must submit their FAFSA to the Federal Central Processor by priority date. This requirement applies only to students who did not file a FAFSA for the fall and spring semesters of the current academic year.
Early May
Financial aid recipients returning to Calhoun Community College for the fall semester should ensure that they have the new academic year FAFSA completed and all required documentation submitted to the Financial Aid Office in early May to avoid delays in processing.
June
First time loan borrowers at Calhoun Community College, should complete their Entrance Counseling and their Master Promissory Note requirement online at studentaid.gov.
